CHEVELLE To Keep Motoring After KORN Tour
November 19, 2004Launch Radio Networks is reporting that Chicago's CHEVELLE will stay on the road after their current opening stint with KORN winds down on November 30. Following that, CHEVELLE will head out on a mix of radio station festivals and headlining gigs that will wrap up with a hometown show on December 17. CHEVELLE drummer Sam Loeffler told Launch that he enjoys playing the radio festival circuit. "From my perspective, it's really fun because, when you're on a tour, you're usually with the same one or two or three bands for, like, months at a time," he said. "And so if you didn't have those radio festivals and things like that, you wouldn't have a chance to go and see a bunch of your friends in other bands, and make new friends in other bands. In that sort of sense, when we do a radio show, it's like us going to a concert, so that's pretty cool."
CHEVELLE's new album, "This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In)", has sold over 500,000 copies since its September release.
